Those who stay within the protection of Abel Township
Farmer - FMR
Farmers work the land of Janines Farm, tend the chickens, grow vital food crops, and tend to the pigs. These people ensure that Abel Township can survive and prosper within this new harsh world.
Comms Operators - CMM
The Comms operators, or Communications Operators to give them their full name, are led by Sam Yao, and they are the ones who keep the Runners and the Messengers safe, monitoring Zombie movements in the area, at least as far as they can.
Medics - MED
While supplies are limited the medics do what they can with what the runners, and more occasionally the messengers can bring in. They treat injuries, and led by Doctor Meyer, some are even trying to find a cure for the plague - or at least a vaccine for the runners.
Mechanics - MEC
Mechanics help keep Abel Township running, and are vital in their work to keep the gates, comms and everything else working.
Misc - MIS
These roles are outside of normal designations, please contact should you wish to find more information
Those who venture outside its walls
Military - MLY
The military includes varied roles within it, anything from snipers to on the ground soldiers. The key important detail is that ammo and fuel are both in short supply. Shots can't afford to go wide, every bullet counts. The military at Abel Township are under the command of Major de Santa, and are somewhat of a ragtag bunch, with only five people actually trained as soldiers. The rest are those who survived, and have been trained at Abel.
Messenger - MGR
This is a new role not provided originally in Zombies Run
Messengers are assigned to one horse, always female and always a Straight Egyptian Arabian. This horse becomes their partner and they are expected to look after them. Led by Badr al-Miraj, who also trains up new messengers their role is that of a scout as well as of taking messages to other settlements, or occasionally trade. They are trained to ride a horse at gallop, easily out pacing the zombies, but this does not mean that they are invulnerable to Zombie attacks. All messengers ride bareback, relying on just a simple rope bridle to guide their horse due to the limited amount of good quality leather.
Runner - RNR
Effectively the lifeblood of Abel. Whereas the messengers move too fast to notice supplies littering the ground - without they're something large like a government drop clearly marked - the runners are the ones sent out to gather supplies. They are trained to run, and can run vast distances. They are also highly vulnerable to zombie attacks - relying on the comms operators talking through their headsets to tell them where the threats are, how to move to escape them etc. They are led by Runner 7, Evan Deaubl- who's leader by managing to survive the longest. New Runners are often trained up by Doctor Meyers
Filling in the numbers for the designation
The numbers refer to what number you are, the head of any group will always have the numbers 000-000-001, other then that any number is open for use.
